The Muhuyu area of the Limpopo Valley is visually stunning.

Muhuyu is located in the Zimbabwe sector of the Greater Mapungubwe TFCA (Transfrontier Conservation Area) on the northern bank of the Limpopo River facing the Mapungubwe National Park.

Arriving by light aircraft, you land on an open plain. Nothing prepares you for your first drive to camp. Yes, there is wildlife and this is exciting – Livingston’s eland, elephant, wildebeest, plain’s zebra and lots of impala. The distance to camp is only 4 kilometers but the change in the landscape is dramatic. Weaving your way through terracotta coloured sandstone hills, you begin to descend into the Limpopo Valley.

The vista’s are wide and big. Towering silhouetted ancient baobab trees stand like sentinels scattered through the valleys. You will feel excited when you arrive.
